Thomas Leithner Gruner Veltliner NV - Austria
Brilliant and transparent nose typical of a Gruener Veltliner, fine spices like white pepper, herbal flavors and crystal-clear structure and beautiful style, fleshy substance and full-bodied palate, open and accessible With enormous length.
Allyson’s Pairing: St. Andre Triple Crème

Domaine De Nizas Sauvignon Blanc 2005 - France
Harvested at full maturity before the rains of September 5, the 2005 Domaine de Nizas Sauvignon blanc expresses beautiful minerality. Pale straw color with green undertones, its aromatic nose reveals an intense bouquet mixing blackcurrant bud with grapefruit, litchi and white flower aromas. With a well balanced and lively palate, it’s a very fine and elegant Languedoc Sauvignon Blanc
Allyson’s Pairing: Cypress Grove Humboldt Fog

Flying Fish Merlot 2006 -Washington
Fresh and silky, with pretty currant and cherry fruit and a hint of sage lurking in the background. Drink now. 12,000 cases made. 87 Points Wine Spectator
Allyson’s Pairing: Vella Dry Jack

Elk Cove La Sirene NV - Oregon
This Cotes du Rhone style Blend is 70% Syrah and 30% Grenache. It has an impressive nose of spicy liquorice, which develops with decanting into a full on spicy. On the palate there is a fantastic fusion of subtle oak and big fruit flavors.
Allyson’s Pairing: Parmagiano Reggiano

Durigutti Bonarda 2005 -Argentina
Big, dusty aromas of blueberry and black cherry at once make you think of the new breed of Dolcetto . The palate does not disappoint either. It possesses broad strokes of black cherry, minerals, spice box and leather. You would be hard-pressed to find a better Bonarda anywhere.
Allyson’s Pairing: Rogue Raw Milk Cheddar

Cartlidge & Brown Zinfandel 2005 - Califorina
This zinfandel has aromas of ripe plum, licorice, and toasted oak. It is medium bodied with several berry flavors; bold, but smooth. Zinfandel is one of the best wines to take to a party because its fruit and spiciness go with a lot of different foods such as cajun, Mexican, Italian, and even BBQ.
Allyson’s Pairing: English Stilton
